Yogaville Waste and Recycling Program
For the convenience of the wider Yogaville community, Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville manages the Yogaville Waste and Recycling Program (YWRP).
This fee-for-service program allows community members to use the trash and recycling containers conveniently located in the Sivananda Hall parking lot
(108 Yogaville Way) for household recycling and trash for a monthly fee.
This payment includes the use of both the recycling container and trash bins:
- Single – $10
- 2 people (renters, couple, roommates) – $15
- 3 or more in household/family – $20.
If you are interested in joining the program, sign up for monthly autopay below using PayPal. All billing will show as coming from “Satchidananda Ashram”.
After you sign up, you will get an orientation packet and charts to explain how to recycle in detail.

Recycling Program
- This program recycles plastic marked #1 and #2, cardboard boxes, paper, glass bottles, and metal .
- No plastic bags of any kind are allowed.
- All recycling needs to be washed, clean, dry, and squashed.
- Cardboard boxes need to be taken apart and flattened in order to save space.
Compost
Interested in getting compost material picked up weekly for free for the SAVE OUR SOIL program at the ashram farm?
Choose the appropriate level for your household
Individual
- Enrollment for one (1) individual in the Yogaville Waste & Recycling Program.
Couple
- Enrollment for two (2) people (roommates, couple, renters) living together to participate in this program.
Family
- For a household/family consisting of three or more (3+) persons living together to participate in this program.
